Children born in the ranks of the Realmwalkers are raised in a world of spirits, magic and mystery, and in this regard, those of the union between this pair are no different. All are given the same guidance and instruction that every recruit receives.

But when it comes to monsters, otherworldly behemoths, and eldritch creatures from the depths, their parents go above and beyond to teach them everything. Forget spirits, deities and ancient rituals-- from tuft of fur to shine of fang, if it is potentially hostile, they learn to fight and take it down no matter the cost. When there are hundreds of lives at stake, a single second could spell victory or a one-way trip to the afterlife.

The line between monster and dragon isn’t always clear; children of this Realmwalker pair should be wary: when you have been raised to kill monsters without hesitation, you should be careful that you do not become one yourself.

Jin, it seems, was born unlucky. Raised as a ward of the Realmwalkers, he picked up all the necessary skills required of a slayer and took to every task and mission with gusto. He was just another drone in the Realmwalker hierarchy; he didn't stand out and would be mourned and missed briefly, if dearly, if ever felled in the battlefield.

In that respect, he was a good soldier: he never took unnecessary risks, never gave his opinion unless it was asked for, and he trusted his team with every fiber of his being.

How was he to know that he'd made a mistake? That his team would betray the Realmwalker Corps and try to kill him when they realised he'd never disobey orders? That his team--his friends, dragons he trusted to have his back--would turn on him?

His teammates didn't know his true strength. They never stood a chance.

And now, Jin works alone. 		x
