indentAuggie has worked as an Alpha Tester for as long as he’s been in the Guild, trying out unfinished and experimental devices in order to figure out how to make them better. As a result, he’s been zapped so many times by exposed wires on unfinished machines that it’s left him with a much higher resistance to being shocked than most. In fact, he can probably tell you the exact number of Ohms higher now that a good 30% of his body is metal and wires. He worked alongside Tesla, carrying out the experiments she designed to investigate the relationship between magic and electricity, but when she was reassigned to Power, he found himself instead working to test the output of the Source all by his lonesome.

indentNot long after his own reassignment, he got to see some of her new work up close with the new automated sentry unit that was posted outside of his lab, although it was in a usage application she’d advised against, unbeknownst to him. After discovering Beta.v2’s sentience and subtly encouraging Ayers to steal him, Auggie was quickly ‘demoted’ to a far superior position in the P.D. R&D department, alongside his old friend and her new partner, Diode. There, he continues doing the work he does in testing out Tesla’s new inventions, only this time, he does it with the much needed company of other dragons, specifically and coincidentally, Ayers and Beta.v2.
