Matrix minds the hotel, observing all those who come and go. Most dragonfolk currently residing in the hotel station are long-term residents waiting for their turn in the hibernal den. Every morning, though, babies arrive, their squeals echoing in the wide halls of the train station, breaking the quiet. Most of these infants are shuttled to a new land through the Auction House, though some are known to have stayed.
Matrix is widely regarded to be stiff but willing to do anyone a favor. When discussing Matrix, townsfolk use she/her pronouns, and anyone who arrives and hasn't caught on to this yet is met with silence and a throat-clearing upon any mistakes. Matrix herself would never correct someone, but the townsfolk love her and ensure she is properly represented anyway.
Matrix was created by parents Zircon and Aquamarine in the Ancient Lair of the Observatory, in Starfall Aisles.
"Sitting atop the highest reaches of Focal Point, the Observatory stands lonely, its Eye of Many Lenses staring deep into the darkest quadrants of space. The Arcanist broods by candlelight within as his four frail arms feverishly scribble the knowledge of the cosmos into ancient tomes of countless pages. Forbidden words rolling off of enchanted tongues echo through the archaic structure bound in runes formed through years of applied magical sciences."
