First Mate of the Mugiwara (Straw Hat) Pirates, Roronoa Zoro (lolonoa // zolo). He fights with three swords, which seems stupid until you have to fight him. Always gets lost, even when trying to walk in a strait line. Tell him 'go up those stairs' and point at the staircase in front of you, and he'll still manage to get lost. Other than that and the fact that you could usually find him sleeping, he's the first mate of the crew and the one holding them together sometimes. As a child he went around challenging dojos and defeating their top swordmasters, until he met a dojo master that said that if Zoro could defeat his daughter, he could claim the dojo's name, but if he coulden't, he would have to join to dojo. Zoro accepted, grabbed as many practace swords he could carry, and faced off against Kuina, the dojo master's daughter. He ended up loosing, so he joind the dojo as he said he would. As the days went by he kept on challenging Kuina and loosing every time. Then he got fed up after his 2000th defeat and challanged Kuina to a fight using real swords. Once again, Zoro lost. This time, Kuina told Zoro how she envied the fact that he was a boy- "Men pass up girls as they get older." She said. Zoro yelled that saying that after she had defeated him was like she was making fun of him, and that she was his goal. He then told her to promise him that they would compete with each other until one of them became the world's best swordsman. She agreed, but the next day when Zoro got to the dojo, he found out that Kuina had fallen down the stairs to the basement and died. He begged her father to give him her sword and promised over it to get stronger on her behalf. He still has Wado Ichimonji today, and fights with it held in his mouth. He aims to challange and beat Hawk-Eye Dracule Mihawk, the current world's best swordsman, even though he begged Mihawk to train him for two years so he dould get stronger dor his captain.
