If you are have issues selling because of the prices, well, pricing is kinda hard and sometimes it takes a few tries to get it right, but looking for similar combos on the AH works for me. Sell your dragons at the same price as those in the AH, maybe a little bit less, and if you're like me and want your dragons to sell as much as possible price them for really low (i should be selling babies from this Glowtail pair for at least 100kt, but since I don't really mind and I nest them in cheap nests I am selling them for 20 or 30kt). Also make sure to check gene rarity, some people prefer the rarer genes!
I also suggest showcasing your pairs, this helps people know what to expect from your hatchery.
If you feel like it, you can nest out of flight (or in other words, in non-ice nests). Some color combos look better with certain eye colors, and the only way of getting those is nesting in other people's nests. There's some threads in the forums of cheap nest rentals that don't require signing up to their nest network, if you're interested in this you can search for them and shoot away two of your dragons
