my first life, i was somewhat of a fool—
just a thief running on adrenaline as fuel
reckless heist after heist, my luck soon ran out
and was finally slain, in front of a cheering crowd.
my second life, given to me by an angel of grace—
they took one look at me and then laughed in my face.
said that i might as well make myself some sorta name
and i swore upon my soul that i'd not repeat my mistakes.
"come one come all come see the demon king fall!"
really now? tch. wait until they hear of this at the castellum!
"your honor, please, i am but a simple hellion"
what is this discrimination?! is this a rebellion?!
my final chance, was rich and loved, born and raised royally
i forgot what it meant to suffer from some sort of poverty—
eventually fled, it was just too stifling
lived the low-high-life, seducing and gambling.
i died drunk and drooling, i died decked in shame
the angels found me, shrieked with laughter, struck my soul in flame
cast me down to the depths and told me that's where i'd remain
'cause of all the chances that i'd wasted, all the choices made in vain.
sorrow and grief was the only emotion left coursing through my veins
i looked towards the sky and realized that i would never change
some may say that curiosity is what killed the cat
but i say that satisfaction brought it back

i added some verses, but they still deserve credit because of the effort they put into this!
