Layla
Notos Guild Leader
Notos Guild Leader
Layla currently serves as the official leader of the Skydancer guild Notos, a fairly popular traveler's pit stop barely east of the Millmeadows. She's rather no-nonsense, which given the behavior of her guildmates... leads to many headaches, to say the least. When she's not chasing after Eliza to stop harassing the visitors, or her nephew Eren to stop trying to poison them, Layla is most often found enjoying the brief peacefulness of her little garden, or sparring in the Training Grounds with Evangeline and Andromeda. Despite her exasperated appearance, Layla is quite fond of her rambunctious guildmates, and would gladly lay (HA GET IT??) down her life for them.
Like most of her guildmates, Layla was born into Notos and has lived her entire life here. She inherited the role of guild master from her old mentor who passed away from old age about a decade or two ago, and has securely held her position for a few years now. Layla currently has no heir in mind, but if something were to happen to her, Luca would serve as a temporary stand-in in her absence.
Her Roc, Sylvester, simply showed up on their doorstep one day. Having broken into the food stores and gorging himself on basically everything he could get his claws on left him sick and ill, and while Layla had been more than happy to rid themselves of another feathery nuisance, Elizabeth encouraged Layla to nurse him back to health. The plan was to release him back into the wilderness once he had recovered, preferably somewhere far away from Notos, maybe near one of their rival clans. He didn't leave.
Sylvester still tries to get into the food stores when Layla's not looking, and is not beneath throwing tantrums, screaming at the top of his lungs, nipping at ankles for attention, or receiving belly rubs.
