╚═══════════════════════════════════╝Dreamchaser met Fury when she found him lost and sniffing through her camp, which he had thought abandoned. Although Dreamchaser's initial reaction was aggression, upon seeing a stranger rifling through her meager belongings, Fury managed to explain himself and apologize, and for the first time, Dreamchaser saw a kindred spirit: someone who was just as alone and struggling in the cold as she was. Afterwards, she invited him to stay with her for a while, and it seems he just never left. The FrostSpire Clan was born of their decision to settle, mate, and raise a family. Dreamchaser is very fond of Fury, and values his softness as a foil to her own more abrasive tendencies. He comforts her when her burden grows wearisome, and she bolsters him when he grows frail under the weight he too must carry. |

Personality
Dreamchaser is hardworking, stubborn, and protective. She is a survivor, and she has a very independent spirit, although the burden of leadership has humbled her enough that she understands how to share responsibility and pull the weight with the help of others. She tends to be rather firm, not compromising easily, especially not on matters of discipline and integrity. She prioritizes the wellbeing of her Clan and mate over all else, and carefully considers every choice in this light. There was a time, earlier on, when she was more open and welcoming to additions to FrostSpire. However, after run-ins with some unsavory characters, and some hard times keeping the Clan fed and protected, she has become more wary about who she extends her cares over. She is by no means unloving -- rather, it's her care for the Clan that drives her caution. |

Role
As Clan Leader, many burdens fall on Dreamchaser's shoulders. She is responsible for managing the Clan's currencies and making sure that a proper income is being generated for the support and enhancement of the Clan. She also organizes the Clan's territory, making sure there's enough room for all of FrostSpire's inhabitants, dragon and beast alike. This includes ensuring that the Gardens maintain appropriate perimeters, being neither too small to thrive nor too large so as to invade on the space set aside for the rest of the Clan lair. Before a new chamber can be constructed, Dreamchaser must approve the proposition, and she will oversee the development herself. In addition to these, the most pressing matter is often the status of Clan residents. She is in charge of who may stay with the Clan, and she has the heavy power to expel anyone who threatens the peace and wellbeing of the Clan as a whole, or even of only one member. |

Talents/Unique Skills Although not a unique ability, Dreamchaser excels at hunting and providing. She can track better than most of her fellow dragons, and can remain almost completely undetectable while hunting. Her kills are quick, and her hunting skills gave her a head-start in learning to fight as well. |

History
Dreamchaser had no authority figures to look up to when she was a hatchling, and learned from a young age how to be her own boss. She got by in her early days by following and scavenging in the wake of a Mirror pack, which she assumes was hers, but the truth of the matter is unknown. She learned to hunt by watching first, then by trial and error. Catching fish for herself was easier skill-wise, but the cold waters of the Southern Icefield posed a danger for her when she was small. She would scavenge whatever meat she could find, and practiced hunting until she could catch her own prey. She started small and caught small things like rabbits, but as she grew and matured, she became an apex predator. She made temporary shelters for herself by digging out hollows in snow, or even in ice if the situation required it, which is how the FrostSpire Clan lair was started and still is. After she met Fury and invited him to stay with her in her makeshift lair, the two became very close and decided to settle permanently. Their first nesting marked the beginning of a Clan that would only grow for the next three+ years. Together, Dreamchaser and Fury carved out an opening beneath the ice that would be expanded, and has grown to house the main population of FrostSpire. |
