Biography

Danra
Light Flight representative, a little inexpressive but with a big heart
In every lair there's that one dragon who seems capable of taking care of both their duties and their own leisure perfectly, without having to sacrifice either at any time. In Janus Ashes, that's Danra.
While Danra is not a Spiral, she is just as active as one. She might be busy writing letters to a Light clan, doing research about the data of unhatched eggs found in the area and about missing eggs in nests, catching bugs for her meal, sharing secrets with Amaltea, or even playing games with hatchlings: whatever it is, she's never not busy. While Amaltea definitely helps making her workload as a representative lighter, Danra still has lots of work to do.
Luckily, Danra is not the kind of dragon who would recklessly accept work that they can't comfortably take care of. She believes that her own leisure and free time are as important as her duties, if not more, and she will refuse to work for the clan for more than a certain amount per day. The extra activities that keep her busy all the time are all things she chose to do on her own accord. The simple reason why she can stay on top of everything is her great time management skills. That, and the ability to stay rested and energetic because of helpful power-naps.
Danra is not very good at communicating and works best when she's alone and unbothered. She might come off as cold or even rude, but in fact she's just very practical and doesn't enjoy casual conversations. Amaltea seems to be the only dragon who can communicate with her easily.

Dragons born from unhatched eggs were not like the others. That was one of the first things that Danra learned after birth.
Long before the Clan was named Janus Ashes, the dragons in the lair seemed to believe that dragons born from unhatched eggs were special. Some of them talked about stronger elemental powers, some others mentioned a direct connection to the deity of the corresponding flight. The general consensus was that such dragons were destined to be role models for other dragons.
Amaltea, on the other hand, taught her differently. She explained calmly that dragons born from unhatched eggs were actually not much different from others. Danra could be expected to study and train hard, but she didn't really have to if she didn't want to - she was free to play and look for something she truly wanted instead.
Thanks to Amaltea, Danra was able to live a rather carefree childhood, but the little Fae still had lots of questions in her head. She wished to know about her origins more than anything: did she really have a direct link to the Lightweaver? Did she really not come from any specific nest? Was it possible to be born without parents?
Those doubts, which started off as pure curiosity, became Danra's main topic of research as soon as she realized that there was no known answer. There had to be a specific and clear reason, a single truth that could explain the existence of dragon eggs that didn't need incubation nor any dragon to look after them.
The desire to become a Light representative arrived later. Most of the Light dragons in the lair admired Danra simply for her dedication to her studies and believed that she was the best example of what a Light dragon was supposed to be like; on top of that, her research often led her to look for connections with other scholars in foreign lairs, and being a representative would make that a lot easier to do. Last but not least, since Amaltea had been her greatest support since birth, Danra was looking forward to help her with her duties and make her workload lighter.
