Hargreeve is a retired botanist and owns a mini frog garden within the circus, inspired by Singer's Brook and the Everbloom Gardens. He no longer investigates or studies plant life as an occupation, though he will always help out other dragons if asked about their flora. Instead, he uses his knowledge of plants now to take care of the flowers that decorate his garden. Sometimes he'll even have activities for the hatchlings to decorate his frog statues, and at the end of the day, they can take them home. He seems to have an endless amount of those things...
Always carrying the scent of light morning rain, the wildclaw brings calmness and serenity to those who draw near him. He'll always have an umbrella on hand, even when the sun is shining, as if he's experiencing a rainshower that no one else is. When he's not tending to his garden, he can be found walking around Singer's Brook for inspiration, humming to himself and twirling his umbrella.

Although Hargreeve seems to be a gentle and relaxed dragon, those who know him better can see the loneliness that hides behind the flora he covers himself in. No one dares to ask why, in fear of reminding him of whatever plagues him, but when he whispers bittersweet songs of companionship to the lone frog statue he carries on his back, it's easy to gather what caused the wildclaw to decide to settle down in life.

Using his frog statues, he wants to teach young dragons to cherish and hold onto the things that they love, warning them that their frog statues will grow sad and dirty if left alone for too long. Whenever he sees a young hatchling's face bloom with excitement as they clutch onto their statue tightly, the loneliness from Hargreeve's eyes seem to fade - if for just a moment - and the wildclaw can feel peace again.
