In the ultimate demonstration of loyalty and friendship between the great leaders, Sorien and Micah offered one of their own offspring to live as ambassador among the other clan, a permanent symbol of their alliance. Ashna was chosen by her father to bear the honor as Ambassador of Earth, bringing with her the blessing of the Earthshaker to Sorien's clan of Nature. The clan venerates her as one of Sorien's own children, regarding her highly for the alliance she symbolizes, and she does her utmost to bring honor to both her birthclan and the clan that so graciously took her in alike. In her time among the Nature Flight, Ashna has really come to appreciate the lush flowering scents of the forest, so vibrant and pulsating with life. The plants she feasts on are so rich in flavor, unlike anything she had ever experienced in the dry expanses of Dragonhome, to the point where even the humidity of her new Flight could long be forgiven. She has great love for Sorien and Mire, and has become especially close with their daughter, Oxalis, a Fae she views as her own dear sister. Though she misses her birthclan dearly, and the pangs of homesickness still gnaw at her from time to time, the bonds she has formed within her new clan have become a second family to her, and she is delighted at how many familiar faces have shown up in Sorien's clan after migrating from the Earth Flight as well. For Ashna, her position as ambassador is one she could never trade. |

Rafiq was the other half of Ashna's exchange, chosen by Sorien and Mire to bring their warmth and the blessings of the Gladekeeper to the Allied clan. In sharing the same grand responsibility, the two have become very close, confiding in each other over the joys and stresses that come with their weighty title, and making sure to bring the love and encouragement from their respective parents back to the other. It was hoped by the clan leaders that the two ultimately be betrothed, and to their collective delight, Ashna and Rafiq seem to support each other as harmoniously as ever despite being Flight's apart, writing each other constantly and making sure to meet up in person whenever possible.
