Fandragon // Music-Inspired

Here's to the one with the smoking stare

Zaba, the debut album of Glass Animals, is the base for this fandragon. His project was influenced most by the album cover and the mental imagery I personally derived from the tracks- it reminded me of tangled jungles and deep shadows, hence the choice of genes. His status as a G1 represents the placement of Zaba in Glass Animals’ discography, while his overall appearance is a testament to the artwork and my personal interpretation of the music.

Zaba’s familiar is meant to be the little monkey in the album art. I named it after Glass Animals’ EP, Leaflings, which predates Zaba by 2 years. Go give it a listen!
