The guardian looks up from his hearty, half-eaten bundle of haunchmeat to you and with a sigh sets it down.
"Ahh, now tha's simple." he grunted, "While some dragons battle rival clans and others battle beastclan forces, I am a warrior who guides other drakes to become trained to work under the Tidelord. Or at least be ready to join the search for 'im with all the other exaltees"
He pauses for a second, as if in thought for a moment.
"We call all the exaltees 'Warriors of Tidelord,' actually. Just a small sign o' respect. But unlike them I've decided to use my skills to train the others right 'ere in my clan, like most o' my hatchlings. One day maybe I'll go with 'em, but for now I'd like to spend more time with my charge, Lanny."
With a chuckle, the guardian turns his back and goes back to heartily tearing into his meal.
