Cruellin
The beast of tangled horns
Cruellin was born with black eyes and a tint to everything he sees. This, along with the disownment of his own mother, has lead him along a path that most hatchlings never should tread. On the first night after his hatching, he left the nest to wander the underground corridors of the Plagued Rose Clan. Unbeknownst to him and his family, his youth would end the same night it began. He turned corners and crossed bridges spanning sinkholes that fell into seemingly infinite darkness. After about an hour, he slowly began to talk to himself. Slowly, his mind reeling, he stopped and curled up in the middle of a bridge, praying for death. And something answered. But it didn't bring death. No. It brought something more menacing. A smoking mirror rose from the shadows below the bridge and settled beside the reeling hatchling.
"Young one...you wisssssh for death...but I can make you better...don't wissssh for the end...dream of a new beginning..." Cruellin closed his eyes and surrendered to the Shade.
No one is quite sure what the hatchling was doing on the bridge above the shade pit but one thing was for certain, Brimstone made sure no one knew about it and quietly returned the hatchling to his mother. Ever since that encounter, Cruellins bitterness and violence continues to grow, feeding on the darkness that blooms within his heart.
