YOUTH ♠ To be too young to be born is a curious thing. Her wings swept the tips of the trees as she rose into the air, the world ebbing in and out of focus around her presence. She perched on a cloud, her wings soaking up the sweet, bright sunlight and sending a rainbow of colors down on the lands below.

Not one spoke to her. Not one acknowledged her presence. That was how it always was, and how it would always be. She would not grow, she would only rise, and the world would rise around her.

To be too young is a curious thing.

She was the first of her nest to fly. So quickly she learned how to use her wings that she simply flew away, the moon sending a metallic sheen onto her scales as she left her parents, her siblings... all that she had, before she knew what it was to have. From then on she was a wanderer, an escape artist, a survivor - survivor of a turmoil she never would face.

To be too young is curious thing. But my love, when it comes to changing the world, you are never too young. Our sweet dragon will prove to us just this.
