Nyoot

Nyoot's self-esteem is nonexistant and he has a massive inferiority complex. He was born very weak and unloved, often mocked for his odd way of walking, dopey expression and cutesy coloration. He doesn't remember having parents-he suspects he was abandoned at birth-and he never had any other kind of loving or protective figure in his life. He instead was left on his own, tinkering with scrap and spare parts throughout his childhood and eventually being able to create mechanical weapons to exact revenge on those who pushed him around and beat him. Having not been properly raised, he had no social knowledge and would wildly misinterpret the expressions and intentions of those around him. Even when he was approached with benevolence, he would drive away anyone who dared to come near. Eventually, he was considered such a vicious nuisance that he was exiled from the Shifting Expanse and was forced to wander the outskirts of the desert. The Warpwood clan, on their exodus to the Scarred Wasteland, stumbled across him, unconscious, weak and beaten, and took him with them. When he woke up, he tried to attack the other dragons but found himself so outnumbered that he submitted and was eventually calmed and coaxed into joining the clan as a mechanic. Though he's grateful to finally have somewhere he belongs, he's still socially inept and short-tempered. He was tasked utilizing minerals of the Thorium Caverns in machines capable of extracting their energy. Though he still has quite a few ways to go before he can harness their power, he seems quite fascinated in their capabilities-and morbidly so. Only time will tell whether his endeavor will serve to better lives or end them.
