[Lore is old and needs to be updated]

Blurred memories, fading lights..
Many moons, many nights..
Abandoned, alone..
Lost in the unknown..
Sinking in shadows, risking lives..
If the secret is revealed, none shall survive...

As you walk through the glowing forests, you find an oddly straight river. Nestled comfortably among the trees near the river, you find a den. You decide to enter. The den is larger then it looks from outside, with soft vines and glowing mushrooms along the walls illuminating the path forward. Two flattened piles of hay sit next to a large opening, like a doorway. Through the opening, you see a large stone with a flat top covered in moss and vines. It looks big enough for two dragons to sleep comfortably on.

Coralsplash landed gracefully in the forest. Dusk landed beside her, however not quite as gracefully, after crashing into some low hanging branches. He shook off the leaves and small sticks that had gotten stuck on his scales and clumsily got back on four talons, his bulk and weight making it a bit difficult. "I see you haven't changed." said Coralsplash. When they had first met, Dusk had been dropped into a tree and only got out because Coralsplash had found him. He turned around to face her, but she was now looking back at the direction of the village she was raised in. War had broken out among the Mirrors that lived there, and Dusk and Coralsplash had fled. Memories of the old Imperial camp flooded back to him. Learning the Coatl language the mother-like dragon who raised him, trying to find any chance to talk to the Imperial who brought his egg back when he came back from patrol... but then, the images of the attack came back. Seeing a guardian slash the throat of that Imperial, and the narrow escape of him and the Coatl, and when the Coatl had gotten shot down by a blast of fire and dropped Dusk into a tree... He shook his head. Now was not the time to get lost in childhood tragedies. "I know what it's like, to lose family, to lose your home.." he said. Coralsplash dipped her head, but kept facing the village. "We have to move forward. We can't live in the past." he continued. "I guess you're right.." said Coralsplash. She turned to face Dusk, but suddenly burst into laughter. "What is THAT?" she snorted. In the serious moment of trying to comfort Coralsplash, Dusk had forgotten that he had put on a thick, brightly colored silk scarf on. "Oh, uh... it's, er.. a bit cold out today..." he stuttered. "No it's not. But it looks great on you." said Coralsplash, then she began to laugh harder. "Look, I don't want to wear it. But I can't take it off, so let's just ignore it, okay?" said Dusk with a hint of a growl. "Here, I'll get it off for you." said Coralsplash, and Dusk took a few steps back. "No.. it's fi-" But it was too late. With a strong tug, Coralsplash had gotten the scarf off, revealing a scroll case hung around Dusk's neck. "What's that?" asked Coralsplash. "Nothing!" Dusk raised his voice a bit. Coralsplash didn't seem to notice that he didn't want anyone touching it, and she began to tug at the end of it. When it wouldn't come off, she got a tight grip on it and gave her wings a strong flap. A sudden gust of wind had hit at the same moment, and Coralsplash went flying back into a tree. The scroll came out as well, a few feet in front of her. "A Wildclaw scroll?" she gasped. "I wish you could just LISTEN to me for once!" growled Dusk. "Well, it's not my fault that you were acting super suspicious!" yelled Coralsplash. But they both stopped abruptly and they heard a loud SNAP. A large branch was held only by the tip of the bark, and was hanging right over Coralsplash's head. "Are you okay?" yelled Dusk, who ran over. Coralsplash was pushed against the tree, not daring to move incase the branch - which looked about as heavy as a small Nocturne and had lots of small, sharp sticks on it - fell on her. Dusk had rushed over, and, with great effort, got the branch at an angle that it wouldn't hit Coralsplash and pulled it off the tree. "I'm sorry for yelling at you," said Dusk. But Coralsplash didn't say anything. She seemed to be stunned, and was just staring at something. Dusk became aware of something at his foot; it felt like thousands of tiny bugs were flying around it. He tried to kick them away, but his foot wouldn't move. He looked back. Green sparkles were swirling around it, covering his body. Then he realized what it was; he had stepped on the breedchange scroll. He kept trying to get his foot out, but it still wouldn't move. Eventually, he gave up, and let it happen.

"Hah! Got you!" Dusk said triumphantly, holding the breedchange in his hand. But the patterns had already gone black; the magic was used up. "Dusk... look at your talons.." said Coralsplash. Dusk tilted his head and looked down. He had two giant claws, one on each foot. That's not normal for Guardians.. he thought. The breedchange had worked.

He was a Wildclaw.
