Katia is a calm and serene sort of dragon, but slightly lazy. Her charges are Katherine and Katerina, her two mates. She's known Katherine for her whole life, meeting a her when both were young hatchlings and was herself hatched in a nest near Katerina's, becoming friends quickly in the nursery. She protects both if she needs to because of how much she loves them. She can often be found napping in Katherine's gardens and in a generally small radius of the shared home. If either of her charges ever need to leave the lair she will always accompany them. She's fond of cuddling and is always grateful for one, if not both, of her charges to join her for naps and cuddles. Her favorite thing to eat are any sort of herbs and plants, with mint being her favorite, and seafood being her second favorite exclusively because of how delicious oarfish are. She also loves tea. After first meeting Kate, Katia was rather immediately overcome with a familiar feeling, the same one in fact that she had felt when she had started her Search, and been immediately surprised that her Search had been over before it had even started, with her having grown up alongside both her charges already. Katia recognized that Kate was also now her charge, and though she had been very protective of her mates and charges, she was doubly so with Kate. Katia had also realized that her mates and hatchling weren't themselves her charges, but her charge as a whole was her family. |
