Hatchlings of the Sunsworn Four are, in a word, devout. It doesn’t matter what cause or deity or godsforsaken beliefs they’ve chosen-- it will take no less than divine intervention to lead them astray from their path.

Regardless of what thin line they choose to walk, all are equipped with the necessary monster-slaying and Shade-hunting skills they require. Whether they use these powers for good is another matter entirely.

The Sentinels teach them dedication and loyalty. There is no manual on Sorineth that can teach them to think for themselves.

It is rare for a child raised in the Sentinels of the Sun to reject their assigned profession. But Inozeth has never been a fan of fitting in, and there's no paladin armour on Sorineth that would ever fit him and his ego.

He can't help it. Bards are as stubborn as mules, and to this, Inozeth doesn't mind conforming. Much to the surprise of his mentors and parents, he turns his back on the conventional paths that the Sentinels offer. The disinterest in the life of a paladin only grows when he comes into possession of his first instrument: a dusty old lute that he finds one afternoon in the lost and found lockers. The rest of the afternoon is spent plucking at the strings in an alcove with quiet glee.

From there, his fate is sealed. Any mentors who object to this unusual choice change their tune before long; Inozeth isn't just good, he's likely one of the best bards in Dragonhome. Under his touch, that instrument sings, and with it, his magic. The earth leaps at his command, rumbling in harmony beneath his claws.

And carefree, oblivious Inozeth plays on. 		x
