__Hatchlings of the Sunsworn Four are, in a word, devout. It doesn’t matter what cause or deity or godsforsaken beliefs they’ve chosen-- it will take no less than divine intervention to lead them astray from their path.

Regardless of what thin line they choose to walk, all are equipped with the necessary monster-slaying and Shade-hunting skills they require. Whether they use these powers for good is another matter entirely.

The Sentinels teach them dedication and loyalty. There is no manual on Sorineth that can teach them to think for themselves.


__Not many take notice of the handsome young stranger that steps into the nowhere town on the outskirts of the desert. Nobody raises a brow when he goes to the saloon for a drink; barely a dragon turns a head as he declines the whiskey for water. Plenty of strangers come through here and none of them stay very long, so no one bats an eye. No one that is, until he leans over the counter and asks for odd jobs to do in return for a somewhat permanent residence.

Rumours abound for a week. Azaeth keeps quiet about it; he rescues cats from trees, looks for and returns missing cattle, develops a friendship with the barkeep in the saloon, tips his hat politely at the ol' madams and missus when he passes by. Soon enough, he fades into the background, just another of the town's inhabitants and about as exciting as dishwater.

If I were to tell you his real name, the one he had before 'Azaeth' wore itself smooth on his tongue, you would not believe me.

He would thank you to keep it to yourself.
