- Romeo: Mercutio’s best friend is Romeo. When Romeo met and fell in love with Juliet, Mercutio teased him relentlessly but nevertheless would have supported him in whatever happened.
- Juliet: At first, Juliet did not much care for him because of his brazen and offensive humor, but they grew on each other and are now very close.
- Loki: Mercutio and Loki get along well and were dating for a time very loosely. They split up, but no hard feelings remained because neither took the relationship very seriously in the first place. Neither of them fully trust each other, but they are sort of partners-in-crime.
- Mairon: Mairon loathes him because he believes Mercutio takes nothing seriously and has no ambition. Mercutio goes out of his way to provoke Mairon (which led to an occasion in which Mercutio was caught in a fight with Melkor) because he thinks he is too uptight and serious.
- Melkor: Melkor hates Mercutio just as much if not more than Mairon. He is very protective of Mairon (even though Mairon is more than capable of handling himself), and even a perceived slight against him is enough to enrage Melkor. When he caught Mercutio annoying Mairon deliberately, he attacked and had to be pried off by Geralt.
- Nero: Nero finds Mercutio amusing, as one would find a ridiculous pet amusing. They once got drunk together, and Nero revealed his entire backstory to Mercutio. The day after, Nero didn’t remember anything from the night before, but Mercutio did and went a little easier on him from then on.
- Agnes: Agnes unnerves Mercutio because she can see through the barriers he puts up. He actively avoids her.
- Jaskier: Mercutio became fast friends with Jaskier. He will often join in singing (poorly, I must admit) during the more risqué songs Jaskier sings.
- Geralt: Geralt dislikes Mercutio but tolerates him because he is Jaskier’s friend. He once got him out of a pinch with Melkor and managed to diffuse the situation.
