Rairye is known for his kindness and the ease at which he garners the respect of those under his care. He's quite capable at strategizing plans and organizing the days within the clan, always having a job for each dragon. While his past had been shaky, Rairye certainly grew into a strong-minded character. Initially, Rairye was born to a simple Nature flight. They lived humbly, taking only what they needed and wasting nothing. Rairye was fond of that clan, but they were not destined to last forever. In Rairye's adolescence, the lair was raided. Almost everyone was killed. Those who failed to escape and managed to live were captured and sold to slavery. Although his training was practically nonexistent, that was the first day Rairye took a dragon’s life and escaped. Alone and hungry, Rairye found a handful of nomadic dragons. They never settled down, but they did have a habit picking up strays. They took in Rairye, doing their best to find him another clan that would treat him well. In the Southern Icefields, there was word of a new clan looking for members. Rairye was delighted by their size, preferring the company of a close-knit group of friends. He sought them out and was accepted into their ranks. It was then that he met Aelius and the two became bonded in friendship. Rairye never saw himself as a leader, not quite like Aelius was. In time, however, he learned to become one. With Aelius and Mira by his side, Rairye works constantly to make sure their clan thrives in the sunlight as they've always meant to do. He couldn’t imagine being anywhere else, doing anything else, and will continue to put his all into Rekhanci. Rairye's place in the clan has solidified into something real and tangible, sowing his own roots deep into the permafrost. His own daughter, Gwyneira, has become his greatest achievement and seems born for the roles she plays. Raising her brought him even farther into who he is today, for no hardship was too onerous when he had his daughter to worry over as well. | blankblank |
