if you abuse the grandfather glitch, this should be do-able. bear with me here
(all images link to themselves)
for the proposed project, here are our 8 starters:
they're shown sorted arbitrarily into pairs but they don't really have to be, it's just that they can be used to start four separate lines
and here's an example of how this would go:
until the grandfather glitch is fixed (and it never has been, but that doesn't mean it won't be one day; staff have been getting aggressive about fixing glitches of late), this is much easier. and this example does assume it's in use. but it's possible to do this without the glitch, too, you just insert royal as a mate after sunshine and before black. if you do this, the final dragon will not be able to breed with royal.
you can do this with all four starting pairs. i don't recommend mixing the starting pairs, because if you're careful you can create matched dragons like this who can not only breed with the first pair, but with each other.
i would also recommend keeping careful notes of exactly who every dragon is related to in that dragon's bio.

grandfather glitch: a dragon can breed with its grandfathers' grandparents, highlighted in green in this image:
if the dragon is somehow related to those paternal great-great-grandparents by another, closer means, they won't be able to breed with them.
two dragons who are ONLY related through their grandfather's grandparents and nothing else can breed together.
(this is likely why a lot of users are confused about how many generations it takes for dragons to become unrelated.)
