Chaibei

Lovingly watched over by his parents, Akis and Laume, the alchemist fugitives. They raised him freely wandering their lab, doing their best to keep him out of danger, while still letting her satisfy his curiosity. They both have a very strong sense of individuality and the need for independence.

They're expecting their hatchling to excel in his chosen field, whether that be fighting, magic, crafts, or any other discipline he might want to explore. They know it might take many lairs and many names to find a home, but they maintain the hope that he will find a place to settle down.

Taking after his parents, Chaibei followed his parents' passion for alchemy, but his condition didn't allow him to move too much. Moving pained him and had to make sure to stay bound during any physical activity. Extra exertion caused him to chip, possibly even lose a piece of himself. To lose a piece of himself means losing his memory stored within himself.

However, after meeting his friend and later mate, Tebolla, he discovered his talent for tea. The pleasant smells, the delicate balance of flavors and gentle raising of ingredients fulfilled his drive for success. Now he experiments with different types of flavors. Currently, he is attempting to make a color-changing tea where the color matches the flavor. So far, pink is rose hip, green is matcha and the honey is....acorn? It's a work in progress.
