There was once a time when Truffles may have simply let issues lie and dissipate over time, but the skydancer had found her tranquil demeanor faltering. Betrayal had kindled this state of discomfort, unsettling her mind and forcing her to contend with the roiling emotions that assaulted her. Truffles' golden gaze swayed towards the oil painting of a handsome wildclaw on the cave wall before her. He was beautiful, she mused pleasantly, donned in refined silks and colored like the night sky as he was.

However, he had spat in the face of her proposal for a romantic outing beneath the stars. He had explained that he was already previously engaged with another dragon, his sheepish emerald gaze refusing to even gift her with their attention! Such behavior was not to be tolerated if he was to court her, she admonished. It was for his better good, she assured herself. Exonerating herself of what little doubt she may have possessed with this notion, she set to arranging the trinkets and materials that she would need to complete the spell. How could he love another if the other was dead?
