Masteval

Masteval was found starved almost to death by the clan explorers in a ruin they explored. They brought him back quickly to the clan to heal him, and soon discovered that this nice, rather shy but genuinely curious Imperial wasn't at his first death's edge. Several times, he tried to venture into dangerous, forgotten places, driven by curiosity, but as he's rather clumsy and totally nottrained for exploration, he always ended hurt and on the verge of passing out. However, the explorers were amazed at how lucky he was for each time was like the universe itself made everything t could to save his life and send dragons to save him - he was even saved by a mother Roc bird once !
The clan quickly took a liking on Masteval, for he was a great fellow and had inredibles stories to share about his somewhat unlucky yet insanely lucky life. We offered him to stay and the Exploraters Guild welcomed him in their ranks, to train him (and save him when necessary). He gladly accepted as it was is life-long dream to become an explorer... and now he had companions to ensure he wasn't getting in more trouble (that part isn't an easy win, as Masteval really has a thng to get into the most improbably dangerous situations, yet to always come out of it).
During his recovery, he became close to Lagwen who helped a lot to heal him. This bond only grew stronger as time passes and she's always the first dragon Masteval come to see after an exploration.

Whisper
His Harpy friend, Whisper, was banned from their clan and found him also almost dead in some dangerous, forgotten place. They decided to stay with him as it seems he's unable to stay safe by himself. They're often scolding him but would defend him with their life.
