_____Ghost originated in the realm of the Icewarden, and lived there for a good many years. However, he eventually encountered a dragon, bound and frozen in the middle of nowhere. He freed that dragon and fled the territory alongside the other, who, through a series of gestures, as the dragon appeared to speak a different language, introduced himself as Dusk. The wandered for weeks, seeking a clan that would accept them both and finding none, as Dusk's frozen and shackled appearance combined with the inability to speak the common language wasn't a welcome quirk. Eventually, though, they encountered the (still very new) Flickering Shadows, who were more than willing to take in an oddball like Dusk, alongside Ghost.
_____Ghost settled into the clan very slowly, not growing close to any of the other members (aside, of course, from Dusk), worried that they would betray him and Dusk. Those fears were, however, unfounded, and Ghost began to accept that this would be his home permanently, that he was safe there. Upon relaxing a bit more, Ghost found that he was very good at looking after hatchlings (a previously unknown fact, as he had lived alone for most of his life), and became an official caretaker for them. He very much enjoys teaching the young dragons how to read, write, and speak - Dusk, too, sitting in and learning to understand the language. When Ghost's not working with the hatchlings, he can usually be found in the company of Dusk, as they remained very close even after their journey was over.
