Children of the Quickdraw Gang grow up in a household-- or as much of a household an encampment comprised of flimsy tents under a sky full of stars can get-- full of what can more or less be described as sheer chaos. Most choose to embrace the same life of crime their parents did but a few do seek a different path, chasing a fate that won't end up with them shot and bleeding out in some deity-forsaken ravine somewhere.

Their parents care little about what each hatchling eventually decides for themselves; this indifferent world will be neither the better nor the worse for it.

Jasper turned his back on the life his parents lead the second he was old enough to think for himself. With nothing but wit, determination and the clothes on his back, he set out to claim an honest life for himself.

He upheld this code until that same wit, determination and clothes weathered away into scraps.

Left with no choice, Jasper decided to dip his toes back into the life he was raised to lead. Not murder and robbery, though. He conned, cheated, and scammed- things that would have once dented his pristine conscience. And he's so good at it, he starts to enjoy lying; - decides to make a career of it. Goes for auditions and nails almost every single one; his parts are small but he's improving with every play and performance.

And if his fellow actors and actresses wonder why he's so familiar with firearms (even the props), well, they don't ask. Sometimes, after the curtain falls, Jasper keeps the mask on.
