A shy nocturne who prefers to be alone than around other dragons, she was born with a rare mutation that makes her scales poisonous and deadly to the touch she can not initiate any form of physical contact unless with the intent to kill and for this reason often roams alone. Her favorite pastime is to fly where she doesn’t have to worry about killing anyone or anything and can be truly free.
common encounter
She twirled in the night the moon shone brightly on her scales, letting out a laugh of exhilaration her glowing eyes shone brilliantly in the night sky as the feeling of freedom filled her heart, one of the few things that made her feel free and forget about the worries of the world and her own burdens. It was for this reason why she was so dismayed to see a dragon flying up to her. She halted mid-flight and watched warily as the friendly looking fae came up to her.
“Hello there! I saw you flying and decided to come say hello.”
The fae flashed her a smile and reached out to shake her talon, she shied away flying backwards a bit.
“H-Hello.”
She fiddled with her toxic claws, aware of the power that a simple touch could do, the fae frowned and tilted her head but brought back her talon.
“Are you alright?”
She felt like she wanted to crawl into a hole, she didn’t like telling people about her mutation for the fact that it often scared them away and made them uncomfortable.
“I’m fine!”
She assured the fae quickly, maybe a bit too quickly.
“Well I should probably get going.”
She spoke in a hurried manner and the fae just nodded at her, looking confused.
Shoot I hope I didn’t offend her somehow.
“U-Um b-bye!”
She folded in her wings and dived down back to the ground, leaving a trail of dead grass as she walked, she found a small cave and curled up in it pulling her tail around herself.
One day maybe I’ll find someone like me.
She knew it was wishful thinking, regardless it was good to have hope.
