Biography
SHE IS A MUDDY GIRL!!!
COME ON NOW GET OUT OF THAT!!!!
You can tell a lot about a dragon by how they react to the rain.
Some dragons like to curl up in their dens and listen to the sound of the rainfall. They sip warm drinks and bundle beneath cozy quilts, enjoying the sound of the falling water from the dry safety of their home.
Other dragons are afraid of the storm. They hide beneath beds, burrowing deep into the safe places they know. They jump at every crack and rumble of thunder.
Still other dragons joyfully run to meet the rain. They lift their faces to the sky and enjoy the water pitter-pattering on their scales. For these dragons it is not enough to listen to the rain - they must dance in it.
And then there's Muddy Girl.
No one is quite sure where the joyous Gaoler came from. She simply appeared one day after a heavy rainstorm, covered in the mud they named her for. The dragons, hearing enthusiastic splashing, emerged from their dens to see the fuzzy little one romping in every muddy puddle she could find. Splashing, rolling, tail wagging enthusiastically, she bounded to and fro into pools and shallow dips of...mud.
It took a lot of coaxing to get her to leave the mud puddles behind and come into the den. There they washed her fur, dried her off, and filled her belly with warm food. Throughout all of this she remained speechless - the only sound anyone had heard from her were the happy growls and yips as she romped through the mud. Who was she? Where were her parents?
No one knew.
Night fell, and the rest of the dragons fell asleep. When they awoke Muddy Girl was gone - but they could hear the sounds of splashing and frolicking outside. Sure enough, she was there, rolling in the mud. She looked up happily as they approached, tongue lolling, tail wagging...covered in mud.
The dragons sighed with fond exasperation.
No one is sure where she came from. It's been years, and she still hasn't uttered a word. But three things are certain:
1. They love her very much.
2. She loves mud even more.
3. She is a very Muddy Girl.
