Morrigan
meaning: phantom queen

...history.
Many would describe Morrigan as cold, deceptive and standoffish. Many are also very wrong and don't know Morrigan that well. Whilst she might be stoic and blunt, Morrigan's behaviours come from a wall she has built up around herself over the years. The fact that she agreed to stick around and help at the Bonfire Shelter shocked everyone, including herself.

Of course, just because she agreed to stay and help, doesn't mean the others trust her, and it doesn't mean she trusts them! But, they need a healer and she cannot think of a place where her talents are better suited, so she stayed. She found herself growing comfortable in the presence of these strange dragons, especially a particular wraith like dragon. She had grown comfortable in her serene new life, and it made her very happy. Until her brother turned up that is.

Asmodeus turned up completely out of the blue one day whilst she was tending to a wounded Banescale inside. She was shocked to see him there, everyone else was shocked that Morrigan had any family left.
Asmodeus explained that she had ran away from home years ago and that he had been searching for her every since!

Whilst curious, many didn't pry into why she ran away which she appreciated greatly... mostly because she was a little embarrassed about her reasoning. You see, Morrigan came from a loving family who wanted what was best for her, but she had always been a rebellious youngling and found their overbearing nature stifling. So, one day she decided to pack her bags and leave to have her own adventure! But, travelling alone isn't as easy as it seems. Along the way she was betrayed, burgled and blamed for all sorts of things! As a result she built up walls and struggled to trust others, but her pride kept her from returning home.

Now she is happy where she is. Every day she feels her walls crumble bit by bit, and whilst Asmodeus turning up was initially a shock, she's happy to have some family around her again. Who knows, maybe one day she shall return home and tell her family of her adventures, but for now she knows there is nowhere better for her to recover from her long, arduous adventure.
