Biography

Robyn - The Polyglot

Personnel Infobox wrote:

Name: Robyn

Designation: The Polyglot

Role(s): Translator, Interpreter, Diplomat (Beastclans), Linguist

Field(s)/Specialt(y/ies): Morphology, Semantics, Historical Linguistics

Other: Robyn can speak Talonok (Corven cant - which means she can also understand Tengu and Raptorik), Harpy, and standard Beastclan. She also understands Coatl and Fae crests (but can speak neither).

Her Wraith consists of carefully controlled lightning magic that she can use to shape letters or hand signs. It usually has a sparkly quality, but can take on a much looser, wispier/smokier quality. She gained the ability to toggle between the two 'modes' at will after helping her Wandering Surgepriest friend pass on.

Currently trying to learn Centaur.

Dabbles in linguistics to improve her translation skills.

It should go without saying that it's a really bad idea to try and insult her in another language. (Looking at you, Astrape.)

Note: That's weird. Robyn's requisitioned food for a familiar, but nobody's ever seen hers around. Wyvern, keep an eye out for Robyn's familiar, and please keep me informed. — Zoroark

Understood, Admin: Zoroark.

Addendum: Well, of all the possible explanations, I definitely didn't expect 'being haunted by the restless spirit of a Tengu' to be one. At least they were finally able to move on. Wyvern, please put in a monthly order for incense.

Understood, Admin: Zoroark.

Note 2: Well, Robyn has a new familiar now - or should I say, partner. Wyvern, please remind Robyn that requisitioning food is simply a time-saving option that allows for delivery to her workspace or den as need be. Both she and her partner are free to obtain foodstuffs (requisitioned or otherwise) from Houji and Comedy.

Understood, Admin: Zoroark. We suggest you update the handbook given to new members.

Exalting Robyn to the service of the Stormcatcher will remove them from your lair forever. They will leave behind a small sum of riches that they have accumulated. This action is irreversible.
