Personality
  • Vengeful right down to his stony core. He vows to one day reclaim his throne and slaughter those who dared defy him in the past. He values loyalty greatly because of this.
  • Easily angered, it doesn’t take much to get on his bad side. He will hold a grudge for an eternity, no matter how small the offense.
  • Delusional. Despite his claims of vengeance, all those who served him in the far past are long dead or moved on. He struggles to let go of the past since he missed so much of the present.
History
A crack in the stony shell was all it took to reawaken the petrified king. Tobias sucked in his first breath in over a century, bewildered as stale air filled his lungs. He forced himself to move, but it hurt, his joints crunched like marble.

He managed to open his eyes, looking down at himself, finding horror at his partially statuesque state. His imprisonment... the silence... the nothingness. Panic filled him, finding nothing but cracks and grey stone.

Until he paused, staring down at the tiny bundle of purple flowers growing from a fissure in his chest. He tentatively raised a weathered claw, touching them. Was their growth what freed him?

  • Cruelly ruled his kingdom until he was cursed, Tobias turned to stone, seated upon his throne. His mages managed to free him, partially, but their efforts were in vain. The commoners rose up, chaining the king to his throne for hundreds of years and killing his mages.
  • Years and years passed until he was able to free himself, in which he then fled without a sound from his kingdom. He crumbles constantly, fragile yet hard as stone.
