Since he was a hatchling, Daiki had been interested in the values of treasure and gems. His lair was not very wealthy, so he joined Vow of Poverty, thinking he knew what to expect.

When he joined, he realized that living with little treasure was far different from living with none. He had never fought in the coliseum, since there had always been stronger dragons to do that for him, so having to do it himself was a bit difficult.

He was joined by Aito and Fin, who trained in the coliseum with him, under the watchful eye of the lairs trainer, Ravic.
