Personality

Very polite on the surface, but paranoid and distrustful inside. After the incident with her clan, she feels everyone is out to get her.
Likes to feel useful and desperate for approval, and interacts fine on a professional level. Is inherently suspicious of everyone, no matter how good of terms they're on. Will often try to self destruct on relationships she feels are getting too intimate.
Doesn't trust any acts of kindness- she always expects others to want something in return, or to have some sort of price attached.

History
The sun was high in the sky, and the glittering snowfields were fresh with powdery precipitation. A young imperial played amongst the drifts, sending up great plumes of snow as she followed behind her father. The imperial stopped as they reached a ridge, catching his daughter before she could tumble down off the edge of the glacier. She was still a tad too small to fly without difficulty just yet.

"Cara," he said, and his low voice got her attention like the groaning of a frozen lake, "look here, now." She bounded over to him and he, with a massive paw, swept the snow from in front of them. A tiny little sprout had poked itself through the hard, frozen ground- one of few hardier plant species that could survive in such a climate. The little imperial's eyes widened in surprise at the sight, and she crept up, sniffing at it with curiosity.

"What is it, dad?" She asked, careful not to trample such a colorful speck in the vast whiteness.

"It is a winterbelle, only just beginning. Even here, where the ice never thaws, life finds a way to break through. In a month's time, this sprout will blossom, filling the valley with blue petals and a sweet scent. It is plants, as humble as they are, that allow us and the prey we hunt to survive." He explained.

About
Carasynthia is, to put it simply, a gardener. Growing up in the icefields, plant-life was relatively sparse. To combat this, she went to work building a sort of greenhouse. She got powerful ice magic from her father, but unlike him who used it for hunting and preserving meat, she used it for architecture.

She built the greenhouse out of ice, carving the ice in angles to produce a beautiful kaleidoscope of color and light. As the sun would shine through them, it would heat the ground beneath the ice ceiling, melting the snow and softening the permafrost. She’d plant several native species, hardy enough to survive the cold.

As the years passed, the clan became more and more reliant on her garden, especially once her father passed away during a hunting accident. Something in her magic changed, and the pressure to keep the clan alive continued to grow. As it did, so did her garden. Her magic began to go haywire from the almost constant use, and the power of it sent her garden out of control. The clan thought she had died, and yet, when she emerged form her garden a malformed amalgamation between plant and dragon, the clan recoiled from her pleas for help.

Exiled and chased off, Carasynthia flew from the southern icefields into plague territory in hopes to find a cure for her affliction. From there, she discovered the Pit, where she now carefully tends to the plant stores- supplying Noxious, Wraith, and many others with useful flora.

She has also taken up tea-making, incense, and other plant-related hobbies as side jobs.

Trivia

Her gardening has consumed her. Brambles coil through her scales and flesh, flowers blooming on her antlers which are always growing like branches. When she laughs, petals fall from her tongue.
An excellent ice sculptor and floral designer. She has quite an eye for making things look good, and is rather artistic in execution of these things.
moved into tobias castle and filled it with flowers, overgrew it. Broke him from his stone prison bc he was the only one there she could talk to besides her plants, even if he was just a statue at the time.
