Biography

Iku

From Ask A Dragon:
Q: Greetings, Iku! Your apparel really brings out your style and stands out a lot, I like it very much! What would you say was the best robbery you've ever pulled off? Or rather, which one of your steals was your favorite?
A: Flattered at your compliment, Iku smiles and her eyes glitter. "My favorite heist? Oh that's an easy choice..."
"When I first arrived in the Shattered Plains, I heard of a museum full of old artifacts and jewels. When I came disguised as a tourist, I saw the most beautiful scepter of rose gold and rubies- I had to have it! A few days later, I got myself a job as a janitor, and that night I took it right under a guard's nose. Of course, the curators called in an expert detective... or so they thought. It was me, of course! I told them I had to take in some of their other artifacts as evidence. You should have seen how easily I snatched their most valuable treasures! And by the time the real detectives arrived and they realized they'd been tricked, I was halfway to the Viridian Labyrinth!

The Vain Con
I didn't always have it this easy. I grew up in the gross, muddy deserts of the Scarred Wasteland, you know. "You have to do anything to survive," my father always said. He meant fighting, eating trash- I wanted no part of that. We were poor, our neighbors were rich... do the math. They never noticed their treasure supply dwindling every time I came for a visit. But when it ran out, I had to find new people to sap. One thing lead to another... and now I'm wanted in all eleven realms for dozens of thefts.
I don't regret a thing. |
