Angel

Angel was born a pearlcatcher female with mist speckle, sky paint, ice basic and water common eyes. I turned her into a banescale and gave her laced, mottle and underbelly the very same day. This girl was a requested breeding between megalomaniacal and MyLittleFoxGirl, in MyLittleFoxGirl's water nest. Any nest except plague/fire were nice, and I was really lucky! Thank you forever! Her official job is crisis management. She is paid to help the clan or a certain business to create routines for likely and unlikely, large or small misevents. She maps what can actually happen, how likely they are and how to best handle them. She also makes general plans for how to handle unforeseen scenarios. Her choice hobby is quite related, and is to inform clan mates on how to best prepare for and handle whatever Marva comes up with. She does not see herself as an enemy of Marva's, but rather like a cleanup pro. It is also a way for her to demonstrate and expand her knowledge of crisis handling.

2014 - None, the first gift was the trick.
2015 - All fonts got turned into cominc sans.
2016 - All dragons got googly eyes depending on their flight. This included the dragons in the top banner.
2017 - You could flip a switch to enable Akiri's hand drawn HD art of your dragons. One of my favourites.
2018 - Advertisements were changed to ridiculous scam inspired ads themed for Sornieth. One of my favourites.
2019 - Dragons and their familiars changed places. One of my favourites.
2020 - You got an annoying yet cute little which waystone who commented something on every page you visited. Inspired by the old Windows paperclip helper. Many players wanted to keep him.
2021 - All dragons got flipped right, left or upside down. This did not apply for scenic mode or the forums.
2022 - Fortune scrolls appeared beside our dragons.





Who is Marva? The short answer is we don't know much about her. She has never been seen, likely because she is wearing an invisibility cape. We assume she is of the shadow flight, and probabnly a nocturne because of her skills. She is more likely to be a breed with nimble fingers than not, but she could be a snapper who is really skilled at magic. Staff could be playing tricks on us, you know? We don't know. She sneaks in at 06.00 FR time on April 1st (previously at midnight to the 1st of April, during downtime), makes mischef and is either standing around somewhere all day invisible and laughing, or leaves the clans to clean up her mess. Marva could even be a cult or an entire secret clan of tricksters pretending to be one individual. Again, we have no way of knowing and I honestly prefer it that way because so much is left to mystery and imagination.

It is possible to turn off visual tricks in your account settings but, personally, I think doing so will let you miss out on most of the fun. You'll still be able to get the gift from Galore, but you'll feel left out of the forum discussions and shares related to the year's visual trick. And the gift will still lop until it can be opened for real.

Fun fact: There is a player who claimed the username Marva because they are a fan, and they have really elegant dragons! I recommend taking a look, especially if you love soft colours.
