Uh-oh, looks like this bright bundle of joy wandered a little too far from her home lair (#306426, EnglishRose), and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but she would be very grateful!

Travel Log:

Ora always wanted to travel. From a young age she was excited about exploring new places and meeting new people, so she eventually plucked up the courage to leave home and head out on an adventure! Unfortunately she only got to the end of the Southern Ice Fields before her nerves stopped her for the night. She stayed in a quaint little inn, with many quirky characters. After staying for a little while she started chatting with a handsome, brooding imperial, named Calahan. He was an explorer just like she was! He offered to travel with her for a little while and she found herself immediately agreeing with the stoic stranger. Now all she had to do was wait until the next morning to begin her journey, she couldn't wait!
Zikul wrote:
The two dragons travelled through the Shifting Expanse, braving both smattering wet thunderstorms and blistering sand storms. The experience was, at times, a challenge to their friendship, as they'd end up sleepless and cranky, prone to arguments and lashing out. They agreed not to visit this place ever again.
gayzashi wrote:
Their travels take them to the land of Plague, next, their scenery unsettling as they skirt along the edge of the Wyrmwound. Ora finds herself in good spirits, greeting the next clan they come across, though after the greeting from an imperial sickly enough to put both on edge, Calahan finds himself in disagreement with the matriarch, personalities clashing when he refuses to settle among the unease that grows quickly within the territory.

Ora manages to end the disagreement by convincing Calahan to leave with her, and the pair set off again, tension melting away as Calahan apologizes to her and she laughs it off, saying she'd rather not stay, either.

Together, they hope their next stop isn't so chaotic.
MapleMatcha wrote:
As time went on, the travelling duo soon found themselves in the midst of an intimidatingly large, dimly lit, and all-around spooky, forest. The pair stared upwards in awe as they walked along a pathway through the winding trees, which were speckled with bio-luminescent mushrooms. They were so focused on them that they happened to walk right into an ominously cloaked coatl by the name of Cipher.

Calahan and Ora asked Cipher for some assistance with getting through the forest, as they were slightly lost. Cipher, of course, obliged, but he first led them to his own clan among the trees so they could restock on supplies- supplies that they desperately needed to continue journeying with, for example, medicinal herbs, snacks, the usual. As they arrived in what seemed to be the main gathering point of the clan, Cipher explained that most of the dragons present in his clan, much like himself, are descendants of Naomi- a dragon regaled throughout Sorneith as the infamous Glitch Queen.

After greeting a few of the dragons within the clan, and stocking up on much-needed supplies, the two travelers bid this clan in the Tangled Wood farewell, along with thanking Cipher, who replied that they would always be welcome if they were to return.
Zikul wrote:
Once more back in a place they had vowed not to visit again, relations quickly spiralled downwards. Calahan was first to lose his temper, but Ora was the one who eventually decided to spell it out: She was off, and he wasn't coming with her.
QueenOfMagic wrote:
After a tense goodbye Ora decided to head home in order to calm down and gather her thoughts. She headed back to the inn she had come to know as home and was welcomed back with many warm hugs and warmer smiles. There were some new faces who gladly introduced themselves and everyone seemed to enjoy listening to her tell her tales! But, Ora mourned the loss of her friendship with Calahan and that was clear to everyone around her.

Her old friend Lissandra comforted her by explaining that time heals all wounds, so maybe some day, the two of them would meet again as good friends again! With a weight lifted from her shoulders, and some confidence from previous travels, Ora knew it was time to set off again. She might still only be a new traveller, but she was excited to experience the world again and couldn't wait to meet some new friends!

Rejuvenated from her visit home, her positive outlook restored, Ora found herself yearning for a beach adventure. She was soon deep in the Tidelord's domain, sunning herself on a beautiful white sand beach, admiring some beautiful shells and colorful tidepools. While exploring the beach, she met a spritely dragon who offered her some tasty treats and let her play with his strange following of cats. In good spirits, Ora took to the skies once more.
greeknerd wrote:
As she was walking, Ora wandered upon a clan on the outskirts of the Sundial Terrace. Clan Magus Lux took her in and gave her a place to stay. Ora stayed with the other wanderers in the clan, most of which had only been there for a few days longer than she but she did meet some excited hatchlings about to set off on their own journey. Trading stories and experiences with the other dragons in the clan helped Ora feel less lonely, but there was still so much more to discover so, bidding farewell, she was off once again.
Gilnora wrote:
She ventured far from the Sundial Terrace, eventually getting caught in a dangerous storm while passing over the Sea of a Thousand Currents. The storm caught her in flight, and proved far too violent to allow her to stay airborne. She had gotten far off course. Without any land form in sight, she crashed into the sea and her heavy body was devoured by the tide. Although her breed had been blessed with sleek fins meant to glide through the water, Ora found herself far too inexperienced with this degree of storm and in her struggle felt her head slam against jagged rocks.

She awoke in the dark, blinking her eyes to find only candlelight defining the body of a large imperial male. He introduced himself as Lionheart and welcomed her to stay with him in his clan until she was ready to brave the sea once more. She agreed, but wound up staying longer than anticipated. Her journey may have turned sour at first, but soon her head had healed and she was enjoying the Mistral Jamboree with new friends. Lionheart and others were sad to see her go when the time came, but they bid her a warm farewell and made a point to encourage her to come back and visit anytime she wished.
Rykessyl wrote:
Ora's flight was a long and exhausting one, passing between the scarred wasteland and the windswept plateau before coming to land within the territory of starfall isles. The guardian would continue on foot, wings far too exhausted to carry her weight any longer. A growing clan named The Cluster of the Cherry Blossom welcomed Ora into their community. Rykessyl would the very first dragon Ora would come into contact with as she is the matriarch of the clan. During her time within this clan she would come to celebrate four flight holidays with the thundercrack carnivale being her last with those she befriended within the clan. All the forever hatchlings would bid her a farewell as she took flight, Rykessyl waving a wing in farewell. Calls of visiting again where shouted in Ora's direction as other dragons waved a wings or claw in farewell.
