It wasn't always like this. I was once loved by my parents when I was born. They never cared for me properly though, how was I supposed to react? Not knowing where I was heading I rebelled. I never listened, broke the rules, became a rogue dragon. They didn't care. They just said, "Well he's finally gone. We can take care of the others now." It was hard to remember they ever loved me. There was only one distant memory if I could grab onto it...

"Look! That's our little baby boy!" a voice cooed. I opened my eyes to find two pairs of red eyes staring at me with awe. One was proud, the other was filled with love. I roared with confusion and flailed my wings. "He's so strong already! Just like me." The one with proud eyes puffed out his chest and smiled down at me. "Awe, shush. We just need to take care of our baby boy, not make him strong." The proud dragon snorted and poked me. I recoiled and bit his talon. He hissed and stepped back. Power?
I thought wondering what that word meant. The bigger dragon seemed to want me to be powerful- I want to make mommy and daddy happy. I'll become 'powerful'! I'll be strong for them and make them proud! Little did Caraxes know that was the last moment his parents ever loved him.

Stop! The little dragon wailed in fear. His little gleaming red eye looked pathetic to Caraxes. "You want me to stop?" He sneered in his face. "I'll stop." The dragon sighed in relief, when Caraxes whipped his head with his tail. "I'll stop after you die!" He brutally beat him for the next hour, until the dragon couldn't even keep his eyes open. Finally. He's dead. Took long enough. I've wasted my time here, this won't teach me anything. Caraxes thought bloody talons dragging across the floor. Just as he was about to turn the corner and head back home, his father bumped into him. "Caraxes." He seemed surprised to see him here. "What are you doing by the border? You know the other clan don't like us here..." His voice trailed off as his eyes drifted to Caraxes talons. He snatched it and Caraxes yelped with pain. "Is this blood?" He hissed. "No father." Caraxes spat. "I was just playing in some red mud." Another dragon then stumbled into the clearing and cried. "My son! Have you seen my son? Please, he's missing and this is the only place he can be!" She begged. Caraxes father then saw the trail of 'mud' and then realized what Caraxes had done. "I'm sorry, but we haven't seen anything. My son was just playing with the mud here. We'll be going now." His eyes pierced Caraxes and he knew that this was probably the last moments of his life.

He what? Caraxes mother roared. "Our son KILLED another dragon?" Her breathing became so paranoid that she had to stop and calm down. "Yes you heard right. He killed another dragon." His father hissed. "I'm ashamed to call him our son." His mother then stopped breathing and glared at him. "Our son? Our SON?! This monster isn't my son! Get him out of here!" She slammed the door open to where Caraxes was sitting. "GET OUT." She roared. "GET OUT AND NEVER COME BACK." Caraxes frowned with anger and confusion. "Why? It's not like I did anything wrong. Dragons get murdered everyday so why does it make a difference if I kill one?" His mother sighed and grabbed her spear. "Get out or I'll kill you." She snarled. "I'd like to see you try." Caraxes grinned. She lunged towards him but Caraxes twisted and grabbed the spear. "Too slow." He twisted it around and stabbed his mother in the heart. That's when he felt strong talons grab his shoulder, twist his wings, and throw him off the cliff. Caraxes looked up to see his father. "She was right. You are a monster." He looked down at him. "Oh yes, I am a monster." Caraxes laughed. "And in this world... Monsters don't die."

He hated her. He hated her a lot. Caraxes glared at the pathetic whimpering red banescale cowering at his feet. Once Caraxes had fallen off the cliff, this dragon had saved him and he had fallen in love seeing her power. After knowing her better however, Caraxes regretted it. She was so soft and cared about everything and everyone, scared of a lot too. Always following behind him like a dog. They had a few dragonets together- and as suspected, they took after their mother all soft and squishy. He kicked them out of their home and snarled at Hope to not chase after them. After travelling to different homes after their dragonets kept returning, he stumbled upon some other dragons lair.

"GET OUT." The little fae snarled. She was hissing and snapping at Caraxes to the point he felt tempted to eat her. Hope was trying to calm her down but ended up tripping. As he was about to end the fae, more dragons flew out from the cave and got into battle formations. He quite liked the dragons here. "Leave now..." They growled in unison. "Silvercrest will kill you." The silver fae puffed out her chest and gave a menacing glare. Caraxes also noticed she was covering in expensive moon starsilks. "I'm not leaving... In fact I have an offer for you." Caraxes smiled at them. These dragons aren't strong enough. I'll get rid of some and create a new squad. This is my clan now, Silvercrest. And you can't stop me.
