Background Information

Masato is a member of the largest section of House Foxglove. She follows Malorne with a certain dedication to magic.

She isn't trained in the coliseum.

“This little girl seemed to be spinning in circles within her egg..? Still twirling about as her shell cracked and fell away, she’s just happy to be alive. Her eyes have that twinkle.”

Lore

Masato has faint memories of being a magician. Oddly, she first came to the clan because Malorne caught her eye - from there, she followed Malorne home and offered her services.

Because of her memories of her past life, she can recall a magic that's...different, slightly, from that which dragons wield now. She shares this ability with a few others in the clan, but is the only one to openly state that hers might not be the same. A few have said that she lacks a certain amount of self-preservation due to that, but Masato carries on with the knowledge that Malorne still supports her.

She doesn't often consider her own needs, and to that end can spend days without eating and feel nary a side effect. She considers this to be a boon, using the extra time to create more spells and test the limits of the power she's capable of.
