"...That must be why Erza and Vida got worked up seeing this child," Hadis muttered to her coworkers, looking through the coatl's ancestors to figure out why everyone in Paradisium felt an uneasiness seeing her. "Her bloodline is Shade-touched."
"Shade-touched?" Dusk asked. "How d'ya mean?"
"I've heard old tales of a fae that would take the place of couriers and intercept exalted dragons. But one day, the exalts were returned to the deities, and she was nowhere to be seen. Gatekeeper or glitch-queen Naomi, they called her- for she had distorted the land around her, and she was the Shade's way into the world..."
"...I see. Shade-touched or not, though, I won't be leavin' her behind- and the ol' Gaolers won't be getting their claws on her, either! We still hafta raise her right!"
Bee spoke up. "Your devotion is clear. We shall raise her as any other, if that is the case. But her name..." The caretakers thought on a name before the wildclaw spoke.
"Let's call her Eir. A name of protection that her blood sorely needs. Plus... it sounds nice, doesn't it?" They nodded- for it did sound nice.

Although Eir's cursed blood has weaned enough to be hardly noticeable or harmful to Paradisium and its members, one can't help but notice a strange aura around her- one that seems to warp how other dragons perceive their surroundings when looking at her. Even stranger is that Lúin speaks in her presence; where he normally only speaks when matters of the Plaguebringer are brought up or observed (which is half the reason they've become the best of friends). Despite the mystery she's shrouded in, her kindness knows no bounds and she works as the clan courier, trading with other dragon clans to maintain good terms.
As a side effect of her heritage, Eir can temporarily gain a handle on other elements, depending on the territory she's in and who's near her. Ice is her natural element, and plague magic is often seen from her thanks to Lúin being near her often, as is arcane magic due to Paradisium's location. If a need to fight ever arises, she proves herself to be full of surprises.

These swans are easily entranced by each other and by reflective surfaces.

This darkened swan followed her home one day, after she'd finished with her trades. She figured he was enamored by her feathers, so she allowed him to stay- and has named him Sylvain.
