- Nieza hides the fact she's a Lightning dragon through her helmet. Her brother, however, doesn't care
- Despite being born in the Shifting Expanse, the twins grew up together in the Southern Icefields after abandoning their materialistic home
- Nieza occasionally travels alone for months, meeting strangers and clans all over the Icefields.
- She met her familiar this way too. Squall Rasas are one of her favorite animals since they've made a home in the boreal forests despite being lightning elementals
- Fresh flowers in the Southern Icefields are rare, so Nieza sometimes replaces them with garlands of faux crystals
