Biography

A writhing mass of semi-sapient tendrils and other miscellaneous organs. This creature [?] was the cause of a major containment breach of a sister facility centered in the Scarred Wastelands, in which many of their personnel perished. Now contained in our laboratories' high-security wing, proper research can be done.

Experimentation has shown that this creature, "affectionately" dubbed Carrion for its origins, requires a high amount of mental stimulation to prevent it from causing trouble. When not sufficiently distracted, it will continuously attempt to escape and/or harm our scientists. For such a terrible being, it's almost cute when it's attempting to solve the given shape puzzles.

Carrion's abilities wrote:
Carrion is capable of taking three distinct "stages", depending on its nourishment level. Each stage is larger than the last and has unique capabilities.

Stage 1
  1. Photokinesis - it bends light around itself, camouflaging.
  2. Arachnoptysis - it spits out a sticky, mildly irritating web.
 Stage 2
  1. Acanthosis - it forms sharp keratin spikes that launch at anything that gets too close.
  2. Xiphorrhea - it generates bladed appendages and rams itself forward.
 Stage 3
  1. Keratosis - it uses keratin to form thick plating on itself, able to withstand a large amount of damage.
  2. Harpagorrhea - it launches barbed tentacles at its target, before aggressively retracting them.
