As part of his transition from frost phantom to a banescale, hispreviously visible bones took on a different twist: his bony white scales are far stronger (and heavier) than the rest. He still takes a lot more cold than his clan mates, and is still a silent hunter.


Bought from GaolerWarden for 15kt. Will become a banescale. Confusing lore. Confusing family relations. Bought as a gaoler with midnight phantom, obsidian streak, orca ghost and ice common eyes. I turned him into a banescale with candycane and trimmings 21st of February 2020. He got alloy 5th of March 2020.

All Gaolers are born with thick, coarse fur coat that protects them from extreme temperatures. But anyone who experiences the cruelty of winter knows that the cold always reclaims.

Ice has, quite literally, burrowed into the bones of the Frost Phantoms. The cold is so strong that the fur above it freezes and dies. This leaves a clear outline of the dragon's skeleton in shades of white and grey on their hide.

Due to their low core temperatures, this dragon specializes in staying outside the warmth of their camp for weeks on end if need be. They stalk herds of prey over long distances. Anything they catch is buried and marked. Other, less weather-suited hunters will find these marking and return the prey to their clan.
