Perle
Self Proclaimed King
A child of wandering loneliness, Perle was the unfortunate clumsy mistake of a nightcollector's claws, making a swift getaway into the Valley. He wandered around the valley's abandoned cliffs, ages before they bustled with life. He was starved, alone, and vulnerable... until the large, open wings of another Imperial casted a shadow over his small body.
Sairos, the largest dragon of the clan, had heard the pitiful cries of the youngling before his wife could, taking flight to find him. A pure dragon of pearl coloration gave him the only name that came to mind.. his gene color in French. He knew it was a weak name, but to Perle, it meant everything to him.. it meant family. The ecstatic, yet frail hatchling curled under the other's body, officially being claimed as the adopted son of the Father of the Bewitched.
Months, even years passed, and Perle grew up to become a strong, independent dragon with a bit of an attitude, plus a royalty complex. Claiming himself as "king", he was simply another acquaintance to the mother, Anxiota. He grew up being spoiled, babied, and only fueled to be prideful. Now, he simply hopes his charm can win over his true love, Patchouli. Uvanlig, his "wife", doesn't care about what Perle does, as he isn't her problem anymore.
Though, as of late, Uvanlig left the relationship after both came to an understanding. He is still a ruler in his eyes, and has even been accepted by Patchouli, who has now become his "consort". Uvanlig happily lives her life as a gentle caretaker of the lightpatch gardens, finding it much more peaceful than back in the glittery den of her former "lover".
Perle is much happier now with the acceptance of his feelings, often being the pesky yet loveable Imperial mate to the Wildclaw. Sairos, at first, was taken aback, but has since accepted his son no matter what.

To my son, LunarDial, one worthy of being a prince, but dismissing such names. Do you know how much I care for you? Oh, if you weren't so embarrassed by my mannerisms, I'd bestow fine jewels to your lair if you were to make them your hoard, or your apparel. I love you stronger than stars burn, stronger than the sun's mighty light, I'd risk anything just to make you happy. Please know, I'd never let myself break your royal heart, my son.
To my lover, Patchouli, a fabulous librarian of praise. Tell me, would you feel embarrassed too if I decorated you as well? Oh, I cannot help but wish to spoil you both lavishly with my own hoard, for it can withstand such blows to its value. I was so, so ecstatic the day you accepted to become royal with me, that I left myself a flushy mess who could only mutter and mumble, how un-kingly of me! My dear, I adore you so, enough that'd I'd fight tooth and claw for your very own safety, even if I look nothing like a fighter. I hope to never leave your side, and like LunarDial, break your heart.
To my Daughter, Aleph, the smallest but most mighty. Your attitude outgrows your body, but you are adorable all the same. I would adorn you, but with your size, I fear I may hurt you. It is why I try to gift you, and all the other veilspuns, small but worthy gifts... I do wonder what you say, and I hope that one day, I can hear your squeaks as words, and not as simple sounds. To my former mate, Uvanlig, another of the pearls. Did I make it awkward? Were you truly happy with my actions? I hope that you were not spiteful of my love to another, though I see you more of a companion than a partner.
