Gabriel
the traveler, the messenger, the rite reciter



Barer of messages, caring and kind, Gabriel sees beauty in nature and steps lightly. While not very adept at magic, when Gabriel enters a room the light seems to grow brighter. Instead of fighting, Gabriel is a messenger - he's a fast flier, trustworthy, and has an impeccable sense of direction and intuition when it comes to delivering messages.

Gabriel's lineage is a faded one. All of his siblings left their family in the Sunbeam Ruins and, Gabriel found out when he looked for them later, ended up exalting to various deities. Eventually, Gabriel lost contact with his parents too. With no mate, no children, and no family, Gabriel wandered.

He's seen some terrible things on his journey - dragons warring against each other, Beastclans assaulting dragon lairs, plagues, and, even once, an Emperor.

Gabriel's encounter with the Emperor in the Shifting Expanse changed him - he became not quite as upbeat, more solemn, more careful. He speaks of the terrifying experience readily in hopes that younger dragons might learn from his experience, and takes the welfare of other dragons very seriously.

Though skittish around ill Imperials, Gabriel is always the first to volunteer to assist with funeral rites.
