Role
Paladin

One of eight current leaders in charge of Windbreak, Warp is known as the main paladin of the city. He helps to keep everything secure and make sure nothing illegal is happening when they aren't looking. Outside of his job, he's more laid back and tends to keep to himself or with his family. Around others, he's often skittish and finds himself anxious around dragons whom he's unfamiliar with. The other leaders are more social compared to him. Recently he's been getting more self-confidence, making him a bit more social and less anxious most of the time.

When on-duty, he's often patrolling the streets of the city, both during the day and night. He'll be accompanied by other dragons from time to time, most commonly being his wife, Narri. During meetings with the other leaders or city council, he's on the more quiet side and let's everyone else talk. If there's some issue or solution to an on going problem that he has, he'll bring it up, otherwise he'll just sit from the sidelines and observe.

Warp had been first brought into the city as a whelp. Before that, he had been found in the middle of the Agave Desert by some nomads, no other dragons in sight. Eventually, the group of nomads had made their way over to Windbreak City, in which they gave him to Ravage to raise him while the group continued on. As he grew up, Ravage taught him to not use his element around other dragons unless in a dire situation. He never realized just why until he was grown up and part of the city leaders.

In battle, Warp has a main wepaon that he uses: two daggers. The most notable of these two daggers is that the pommels at the end of the handle have a diamond shaped hole. When he throws his daggers, he can retrive them by using his shade magic to grab the dagger through the hole and bring it back to him with shadow-like tendrils. It's fortunate that corruption has many similar properties to the shadow element, allowing him to use his powers to retrieve his daggers without any worries.

History
There's not much Warp can remember before he was brought to Windbreak. There's flickering memories of feeling the warm embrance of his biological parents, the muttering of their full names, and being curled up in a nest with his clutchmates. Then, afterwards, a vast sea of sand before him, his family no where in sight. At that point, he was around a year old.

Through the Agave Desert, he wandered on foot to try and find his parents. At night, he travelled when the desert was coolest, then hunkered down in the day, something he learned quite quickly as to not burn his scales. For a week, he was on his own without any food or water before the group of nomads came across him. They took care of him as they made their way out of the Agave Desert, bringing him back up to full health.

Without the proper materials, time, or experience to fully raise a dragon, they started to look for a nice home for Warp. One of their stops was Windbreak City, in which they managed to find Ravage, who agreed to take in Warp. Once Warp had become a dragonet and his elemental powers started to develop, Ravage soon learned just why he had been ditched by his own family.

Warp had the element of corruption. In fact, the hatchdate of Warp seemed to line up with the recent appearance of some form of corruption further up north in Senrade.

Fearful of what may happen to Warp if any other dragon learned about his element, Ravage taught Warp to hide his power. When he knew they were away from prying eyes, Ravage would allow Warp to explore his powers while he was watching. At the time, Warp had not been happy with the rules Ravage set in place. He wanted to show his friends the cool powers he had! In hindsight, Warp finds himself grateful that Ravage was looking out for him.

At the age of 17, he had figured out that he wished to be a paladin or mercenary of sorts. After getting enough funds, Warp would go all the way to the Ravrindra Kingdom to train within a guild. There, he would live in the kingdom for a whole year, sending letters back home to Windbreak and exploring the kingdom in his free time. During his training, he met another dragon named Narri, who was in the same set of classes as him. The two got to know one another and became close friends.

When their training was complete, Narri and Warp headed back to the Mistral Plateau, eventually splitting ways to their own cities. Unknowing to them, the Ravrindra Kingdom would fall to the taint several years later.

Once he returned, he was offered a position as one of the city leaders and accepted it. Not too long afterwards, Orvadasp and Nurya also became leaders, the three dragons becoming friends. Warp was quick to get used to his role, assigned with keeping the city safe and making sure their security was as good and efficient as it could be without making the city's funds vanish.

A few months after he was appointed a leader, Narri showed up at the city. She told Warp about how her home town was taken over by a cruel rebel group. As much as she tried to defend it, she was unable to keep them out, many dragons that she knew perishing when they took over. When she had the opening, she would've grabbed her things and fled before anything happened to her.

Narri moved in with Warp for the time being, being given a job to help patrol the city and keep it safe, similar to Warp. A few months later, they started dating one another. After two years, they would have officially gotten married and had a few hatchlings of their own later on down the line.

While recent days haven't been too dramatic or crime-filled, he doesn't mind. Recently, he's been trying to improve himself and have more confidence and courage than his average self. He's also been spending time with Narri and his children, trying his best to be a good father figure for them.

Relationships

Ravage Winterhold - Father
Having adopted Warp when he was just a whelp, Ravage has helped to raise Warp up by himself. There's many lessons that Warp has learned from his father that has shaped him into the dragon he is now. The two still see each other often, mostly during their job in which they'll talk about what's going on around the city.

Narri Eike - Wife
The two met when both of them were training to become paladins in the Ravrindra Kingdom. At the time they had split ways when returning home, they had been close friends. Whenever Narri came to Windbreak, Warp didn't hesitate to offer her a place to stay. A few months later, he realized he had feelings for her and the two started to date after a bit of a talk. They're now officially married and keep guard over the city together, having had a few hatchlings.
