Nath was born in a clan near the calm waters of the Sea of a Thousand Currents. Because of this, the young Fae took interest in and was influenced by the gentle and poetic water dragons that lived by the shores. Since then, he began to take up the art of writing and would make poems about any little thing he thought was worth writing about. Despite the lack of attention he typically gets for his poems, he still takes pride in his work and often writes for himself and not for others.
In the early days of his career, Nath would travel around the Plateau in hopes of getting commissions and having others express interest in his work so that he can sustain himself while also doing what he loves. Unfortunately, his poems never found much popularity and were only appreciated by the elderly who thought that his poems tapped into memories of their youth. However, when Nath found himself in the Cloudsong Circus, he quickly asserted himself and offered his talents to the circus.


Although Nath initially wanted to use his poems and writing as a part of the main acts of the circus, Sasta and the other members couldn't find any opportunities for it. Keeping his head high, he uses some of his poems as little secrets to be found on Breezy's tickets or to be sold as their own type of merchandise. The Fae's poems don't sell as well as compared to the other items for sale, but he still attracts a decent amount of customers, which he uses as motivation to keep working.

tumblr_ph64flyTl71wgebr5o3_250.png Nath tries his hardest to maintain interactions between all the members of the circus, but it can end up burning out the Fae if he overdoes it. One of the dragons that he loves to interact with is Zephira, who traveled across Sornieth in her younger years. Although Zephira doesn't remember, Nath actually encountered the Pearlcatcher during his own travels. According to the Fae, Zephira gave him some advice on pursuing a career that doesn't get a lot of limelight as poetry, which Nath has kept in mind ever since. He believes that he owes his happiness and self-proclaimed success to the Pearlcatcher, and wants to give back to her as a sign of thanks.
