Nea stumbled into an assassination guild and became quite the star, whether they originally wanted to or not, they were good at their job and were content. The guild was quite rough and demanding however, and Nea ended up cold and distant. One day they got a contract for a dragon named Revenant and as usual, they left to complete it, this time, they didn't come back to the guild.

Upon arriving in the clan's borders, they masked themself as a newcomer interested in joining, and to their surprise was accepted wholeheartedly. It was quite a different environment than what Nea was used to, warm, welcoming, and... nice. They found themselves a changed dragon, now seeing the beauty in life and even finding out their own identity.

They never even sent a message back to the guild, they'd rather let them assume they had died on the job, Revenant was an accomplished mage after all, so it wouldn't be out of the question. Nea is still trying to get fully used to such a welcoming environment, but they know it's where they belong.
