Mello meticulously folded a swathe of patterned paper. Beneath the table lay a pile of half-finished kites. Upon closer look, they seemed to be misshapen, or riddled with other smaller mistakes.

A familiar Banescale padded into the room. She paused to look up from her work.

"You're back at it again, it's looking great." Enigma perched on a nearby counter. "Don't mind me, I'm just watching."

"We'll see how this one turns out. The rebellion's been on my mind, but all I want to do is my crafts. I don't want to get involved with any of it."

"Tell me about it, I'd much rather do my own thing. It'd be nice to talk with the scholars though."

"Yeah, it must be frustrating to not know where you came from." She said as she worked.

"It's a work in progress," he remarked.

Zoiros finished up the final touches on the kite. She held it up to the light and then hung it up on her shelf.

"That one came out great."

"I feel safe with you," she smiled.
